Ripened on the tree for approximately 210 days after flowering and fruit set,
only fruits with exceptional flavor and appearance earn the prestigious name “Tamatama.”
Among them, the highest-quality selection is known as “Tamatama Excellent.”
Naturally sweet with very low acidity and bitterness, these premium kumquats can be enjoyed whole — skin and all.
Expect a rich sweetness and elegant citrus aroma, representing one of Miyazaki’s finest seasonal specialties.Carefully cultivated in greenhouses, these rare fruits are also rich in Vitamin C and Vitamin E, and are best enjoyed fresh in their natural state.
